What to expect on your first visit
Welcome to Brush Floss & Smile in Forest Hill, Toronto! We’re delighted to have the opportunity to accompany you and your family to optimum oral health. Choosing a dental care provider is an important decision, and we know that you want to be sure that you select one perfect for your family. Front Desk
Our front desk team is our Welcoming Committee – we’re honoured to welcome you to Brush Floss Smile! We’re here to greet you, make your visit enjoyable, and help you with the administrative details. If you didn’t submit a Patient Intake Form online, we kindly ask that you come to your appointment a few minutes early to complete it before you see the doctor.
Checkup
Time to meet your doctor! She will complete a comprehensive exam of your teeth and oral environment, and an oral cancer screening will be completed. We’ll take care of that quickly and comfortably if dental X-rays are required. A dental and medical history will be compiled and discussed. You’ll have time to raise any questions, and we’ll ensure we answer them all.
Hygiene
After your new patient exam, your Forest Hill dental hygienist will be happy to meet you and complete an in-depth evaluation of your gums and thoroughly clean and polish your teeth. When you are new to our office, this is scheduled separately from your examination, so please be sure to request back-to-back appointments (examination and cleaning) when you first call if you would like these done on the same day.
